My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that all children can succeed. I respect my students and try to model behaviors that promote both academic and social responsibility. Respect and tolerance is the first step in that direction. I make a concerted effort to foster a structured, caring and nurturing environment in which students can realize their potential for success. Education is a value. I learn with and from my students. That's what makes teaching exciting for me; it is an ongoing process of learning.

The Computer Use Contract will be reviewed during class, and students in grades 2+ will be required to sign an agreement that they understand the rules that I have presented to them.
