Welcome
As parents we have a responsibility to raise our children as best as we possibly can. This self sacrifice is imperative in today's culture given the high dropout rates, low testing scores and parents growing ever distant from their children. This in conjunction with continued budget cuts makes it increasingly difficult to educate children and equip them for adulthood.
I believe that parents acting responsibly, being a true support for their children, take the time to discipline them in good study habits and work ethics. This will dramatically improve the children's diligence in learning the classroom curriculum.
Becoming a PTO member is only one way to show your efforts, as a parent toward your child's welfare and improve your relationship with their educators and other parents.
